How to Prevent Mass Fatality Events

This Thursday’s IPAG meeting that is taking place at Shepard Park Christian Church. The FBI and DC HSEMA will make a presentation at Shepherd Park Christian Church regarding safety from mass fatality events. 

We will be joined by Anthony Hall, from the DC Dept. of Behavioral Health, Director of the Community Response Team who will present on his team’s work throughout the city. We will also be joined by Special Agent, Matt O’Brian from the FBI who will present on; “Pathways to Violence-How early identification, management and engagement of individuals on the pathway of violence can lead to the prevention of mass fatality events”. We will also have a briefing from members of our NTIC and a SAR’s training.

In view of what happened at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and in New Jersey on the same day it is important that as many people as possible from SPCC attend to learn about prevention steps we all can take.
