Minister Stephanie Powell

Minister Stephanie Powell accepted God’s call to be a preacher and teacher to the body of Christ in November of 2003 and was licensed as an Associate Minister at the Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church on September 20, 2006 under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Reginald Thomas, Sr.

At Greater Min. Powell serves as an Adult Sunday School Teacher, a teacher in the Life Development Institute, and has led a group of ten disciples who graduated in June 2011 after a three-year process. Minister Powell also is an advisor and life coach to various pastors and church leaders. She is a first-year student at the Wesley Theological Seminary where she is pursuing a Masters in Theological Studies.

In 2020 she formed Stephanie Powell Ministries at God’s urging. Her gift is that she can make the scriptures “plain” and accessible to all. Her call is to “lift up the
name of Jesus”. During this season of her life and ministry her theme scriptures are:
