Housing Up Gift Drive

On Saturday, December 4, 2021 SPCC celebrated the holidays with friends and neighbors as a 20-foot tree and 12-foot menorah lit for Hanukkah brighten the new Arts Plaza at The Parks at Walter Reed as a choir sang holiday tunes. There were hot beverages, fire pits, s’mores, and tasty treats for kids and grown-ups.

The Parks and the Shepherd Park Citizens Association partnered with Housing Up on their Holiday Drive, which raised funds to purchase gifts for the nearly 1,500 children in their permanent supportive housing program.
