Min. Steven B. Sykes

Minister Steven B. Sykes, M.A.A.

Minister Steven B. Sykes is an Associate Minister at Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church (GGMBC) in Baltimore, Maryland, and serves under the leadership of his Pastor and friend, Dr. Reginald Thomas, Sr. as a member of the men’s ministry (Men of Integrity) leadership team. He is the former head of the Photography Ministry and is a facilitator in the Discipleship Program.

He is the son of the late Hugh and Doralyn Sykes; co-laborer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ with his wife and best friend, Rev. Antoinette Gatewood-Sykes; father to their beloved daughter, Christine F. Sykes.

His formal education has culminated in the following: a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources from Strayer University; Master of Arts Degree in Apologetics from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, GA.

His life Scripture is Romans 8:31 “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us who can be against us?”
